Mrs. Rivas has over 13 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker with a dual-language and multicultural background. She's worked in a diverse range of settings for example, with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems, sexual assault survivors, and with partners who have been sexually assaulted. She's worked with Erie patients since 2019. She is currently offering access to Behavioral Health Services via telehealth. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team, which works with post-partum and prenatal mothers, offers trauma-informed therapy to adults and is a specialist in trauma treatment. She offers group and individual therapy and a medication assisted treatment program. Referrals for special care are also available. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent animal homes through her role as a Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer.
